This is a 3-day training module to build the knowledge and skills of peer educators working in targeted intervention projects. Apart from sessions on peer education and roles and responsibilities of peer educators, the manual contains technical information on outreach planning, sexually transmitted infections, condoms and such like.
The manual is supported by a film, situation cards and a set of five flipbooks that can be used by the peer educators to communicate with the community on varied topics. A handbook has also been developed that summarizes the core content of the training module. |
